Our History
Established in 2012, Swift Straw identified significant inefficiencies in the traditional pine straw industry. Previously, pine straw was hand-raked, hand-tied into square bales, and manually loaded onto trailers, limiting distribution primarily to local southeastern retailers with the necessary infrastructure. Recognizing this bottleneck, we pioneered mechanical harvesting methods which has forever changed the way that pine straw is managed, harvested and sold. Additionally, we development the first bagged and palletized pine straw products, revolutionizing distribution channels and unlocking the potential of this exceptional ground cover.
Our Growth
Since our inception, Swift Straw has experienced remarkable growth, becoming the largest pine straw distributor in the United States. Our commitment to innovation and excellence earned us a place on the Inc. 5000 list for six consecutive years, reflecting our rapid expansion and influence within the industry.

OUR PRODUCTS
Swift Straw is the largest pine straw distributor in the country based in Atlanta, GA with facilities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. We ship pine straw across the country, and we install pine straw and mulch throughout the southeast. We're able to ship full trailers of straw and pallets of our new bagged product. Flexibility and performance help maintain our geographic and diverse portfolio including satisfied landscapers, apartment complexes, commercial buildings, hotels, homeowner associations, schools, parks, and private home owners. Swift Straw’s corporate strategy focuses on consistency in service and product, but it is most importantly relationship driven.
